Okay so I think what @Hand_of_Fate is trying to explain and @Phantasmos and @Zerox don't want to understand is a fundamental difference of viewpoint.
This game is on the dying side, as evidenced by the stagnation when it comes to events (most are repeats) and the complete ignoring of the ingame issues from the side of the devs like apocly sp or the forum image upload bug.
@Hand_of_Fate is saying the devs have limited time and the best way to use it is to make new events, because they keep both veteran and new players interested in something to do.
@Zerox and @Phantasmos are arguing that if the devs care about the game, they should just fix the obvious issues. But you guys fail to see that the devs have been pulled in favor of more lucrative projects.
If anyone with a pulse can make it to top 5000 in PVP, you get a rough estimate of how small the active playerbase is. There is imho just not enough money coming in through this game to pay for the changes needed or wanted, so the minimal amount of effort to keep the game running is what's being undertaken.
Bamco knows how to keep mobile games interesting for veteran players and new players alike (as seen in Dokkan Battle or One Piece treasure cruise) but every change needs time.
We already got metamorphers, but buffing old mons does nothing to activate or increase your player base without a new event.
