The new pvp point system is absolutely amazing but it is also very necessary to increase the skill variety in game by introducing new digimons and updating existing digimons.
Plz keep up with the good work of introducing new amazing digimons with usefull skills like lilithmon and kuzuhanmon, but do not leave the old cash digimons behind, especially the SP+ and LR ones like Junomon or DarknessBagramon. Some of the old cash digimons are either skill-wise useless or stat-wise useless nowadays.
Specific skill-related suggestions are at the very end
First off, I would say that I am really satisfied with the new pvp point system change. You no longer need to spend 20+ hours or play hardcore on last day to get the LR reward. It is really nice for ppl like me who usually have to work on Sunday, I no longer need to sacrifice my sleep time on Saturday night.
It is also really fun that when you climb up to the position you belong, it actually requires control to win each battle unlike previous system, all you need do is to spam weak combo and use "dmg to all enemy" skill on 4th turn.
However, after seeing the most recent rotations of DM eggs and with my own experience of playing the new pvp arena, I do have some concerns regarding the TEAM BUILT or SKILL VARIETY in relation to your pvp win ratio.
The team built is rather DULL, nearly all top 10 players have 2 same digimons in their team:
Kuzuhamon & Clavisangemon, which can be purchased from the previous holy race rotation. Literally if you going for BLB the LR Jupitermon-warthmode, you should be able to get 6 copies of the above 2 digimons fairly easy. The rest 3 digimons of the team are all high defense digimons such as blitzmon.
What are the causes for the above fact? The reason being that to build a good team for PVP, defense and skills of the team are crucial factors that affect your win ratio. But the most important part is to have sufficient amt of defense. After surpassing certain split points (i.e. sp, sp+, LR) in arena, there are different defense point that you must meet to survive even the 1st turn.
Only with enough defense, a team with better/usefull skills may be consider better than another team that has similar defense.
From my observations, in accordance with the current dmg system (in general, not limited to pvp), to build a good team, one would want to have 3 different kinds of skills:
1. dmg dealer
3. def booster/dmg reduction skill
(vamp skill and wild card generator skill can be seen as both 1&2)
Due to the nature of the dmg system, only skills that have a turn of 3 or less will be consider useful in the current PVP system.
There is only one healer that has more than 749 def in game: clavisangemon. Second best healer is jyureimon, with a def of 678 at BLB.
To my knowledge, there are 3 decent def boosters in game that have decent amt of def in game, neptunemon, rosemon-x-antibody and kuzuhamon. Rosemon has lower def compared to kuzuhamon and the booster skill is restriced. Neptunemon has ok def but to activate the booster skill it requires 4 turn. Those 2 digimons are opt out and leave the players with one choice: kuzuhamon.
It comes to a conclusion that It is very necessary to increase the SKILL DIVERSITY in game.
The releasing of new digimons (that have no more than 3 turn "usefull skills" and with reasonable amt of defense stat to different tier of players) or the update of existing digimons may help solve the issue.
It is very nice to see digimons like lilithmon or kuzuhamon that have 540+ def in rotation, however t is also very important to keep the def stats CONSISTENT.
How many LR digimons have a def that is higher than 540? not many. If that's the idea you are giving to the currently players (i.e. we are going to release more digimon with def that are higher than the old LR digimons), I can assure you that less ppl (or maybe more ppl in the short term) will be spending on new rotations coz they can always wait for the In-coming New & Better LRs with the possibility of having 900+ def.
There are few suggestions regarding to certain skills that are worth of mentioning here.
First one is ShinegreymonBM SP+: His main skill "Adds a small delay to all enemy attacks" is too ancient and needs way too many turns to activate.
It would be better if it is changed to "adds a small delay to ONE enemy attack" and possibly having 2 turn CD at BLB. That could make this skill actually useful in PVP.
Second one is Bagramon: His leader skill "Halves the damage received from yellow holy enemies" is too ancient and needs way to many turns to activate.
It would be better if the turn is actually reduced to 1 or 2 turns at BLB. Since it is race restricted, it wont be that over power in game. There should be more digimons with race restricted dmg reduction skill in game to increase the SKILL DIVERSITY.
There are not many digimons with 2 turn vamp skill from cash rotation, it would be nice to have some (I know there are 3 turn vamp digimons, but they are not as good compared to 3 turn all 9 +2 combo in PVP).
